Derek Hough and Julianne Hough return as hosts for ABC’s festive annual special “The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration,” and will be joined by co-hosts, Freeform’s Sherry Cola (“Good Trouble”) and Marcus Scribner (“grown-ish”), as they host “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade.”

Freeform announced the winter premiere dates for the series premiere of “The Watchful Eye” from Ryan Seacrest Productions and returning favorite “grown-ish.”Emily Fox ('Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist') is showrunner and executive producer of “The Watchful Eye.” Emmy®-nominated “grown-ish” returns for the second half of its fifth season.

Inspired by the popular How to Train Your Dragon franchise, new episodes of DreamWorks Dragons: The Nine Realms arrive on Hulu and Peacock. The upcoming third and final season of 'Motherland: Fort Salem,' which will premiere on June 21 at 10:00 p.m. EDT/PDT. In addition, 'Good Trouble' will be back for the second half of season 4 on July 7 at 10:00 p.m. EDT/PDT, and Emmy®-nominated 'grown-ish' will return for season 5 on July 20 at 10:00 p.m. EDT/PDT.

The stars and producers of ABC’s Emmy® Award-nominated comedy series, “black-ish,” gathered for a red-carpet, series finale event at Smithsonian National Museum 

Based on the novel by Sarah Dessen, ALONG FOR THE RIDE is directed and written by Sofia Alvarez and stars Emma Pasarow and Belmont Cameli as Auden and Eli.  The film also stars Kate Bosworth, Dermot Mulroney and Andie MacDowell.

As the final season of “black-ish” comes to a close and the current “grown-ish” class graduates Cal U, the beloved “-ish” universe continues with Emmy®-nominated “grown-ish” picked up for a fifth season. “black-ish” star Marcus Scribner heads over to join his TV sister Yara Shahidi on the Freeform spinoff.

The Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild (IATSE Local 706) announced winners of its 9th Annual Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Awards, presented by HASK Beauty, in 23 categories of film, television, commercials and live theater. The gala was held on Saturday night, February 19, 2022, before a live audience at The Beverly Hilton Hotel. It was also livestreamed to an audience of millions worldwide.  

Produced and directed by Erick Weiss and his Honeysweet Creative team, the 9th Annual Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild (MUAHS) awards, presented by HASK® Beauty, will take place LIVE on February 19, 2022, at The Beverly Hilton Hotel, as well as be streamed to thousands worldwide on YouTube and Vimeo. The MUAHS awards gala, honoring outstanding achievements of both make-up artists and hair stylists in motion pictures, television, commercials and live theater, is co-produced by Honeysweet Creative and IngleDodd Media.

In “Ron’s Gone Wrong,” Things go hilariously awry when Barney, a socially awkward middle-schooler, receives a malfunctioning, digitally connected device that’s supposed to be his “best friend out of the box.” In this action-packed animated story set against the backdrop of the social media age, a boy and his robot discover true friendship.

The series stars Anthony Anderson as Andre “Dre” Johnson, Tracee Ellis Ross as Rainbow Johnson, Yara Shahidi as Zoey Johnson, Marcus Scribner as Andre Johnson Jr., Miles Brown as Jack Johnson, Marsai Martin as Diane Johnson, Laurence Fishburne as Pops, and Jenifer Lewis as Ruby. Former One Direction member Liam Payne has released his new feel-good single, Sunshine. The official music video features Payne in film-themed set pieces for the new animated feature film Ron's Gone Wrong, as well as all-new film footage.

Liam said: “I am such a big fan of Disney, so to be working on this is a dream come true. I can’t wait for you all to hear Sunshine and to see ‘Ron’s Gone Wrong.’ It has been a lot of fun!”

The film is directed by Pixar veteran Jean-Philippe Vine (story artist on “Cars 3” and “The Good Dinosaur”) and Locksmith co-founder Sarah Smith (“Arthur Christmas”)  with Octavio Rodriguez (story artist on “Coco” and “The Incredibles 2”) co-directing.

Today, in a historical first, the NAACP announced that it will be awarding two recipients, NBA superstar Stephen Curry and The Women’s National Basketball Players Association, with the Jackie Robinson Sports Awards. Additionally, Misty Copeland will be honored with the prestigious Spingarn Medal.

The Hall of Fame Award, which will be presented by Eddie Murphy’s collaborator and long-time friend Arsenio Hall, is bestowed on an individual who is a pioneer in his or her respective field and whose influence will shape the profession for generations to come.
